Front Yard Photos

Here are some photos from the front yard for a change. They are photos of droplets after a rain and a very tiny purple and green bug - the color isn't very evident in the photos, but he/she/it really was purple and green - who knew something SO tiny could be so beautiful! The yellow flowers are allamanda. I love to do macrophotography, or at least this is my attempt at it.

Love the pictures. And they're relaxing with the music.

I was thinking of you as I listened to my new Mandisa CD. Have you heard it? The first song is called Only the World and talks about how we are only passing through. Made me think of your heading on your blog. It has a lot of other good music on it, all different styles, some hip hop, Some jazz, some gospel and some really beautiful ballads. All the lyrics are thought provoking and inspiring. Well, I did not intend on this getting to be a music review. Just wanted to pass on some songs you might want to check out. Cathy

I'll have to see if Itunes has it - then I can listen to parts of the songs. I've not heard of Mandisa, so I'll have to check it out.

She was on American Idol season before last. Got booted out early some say because she sang a Christian song.

I looked her up on the internet. Her web page has two samples from her album - very upbeat. The words are wonderful. I noticed she also has a book out - wow! Next time I'm in a bookstore, I'll sit down with some coffee and check it out!
