Thursday Morning

I'm asleep at the desk, here. Today is my early day at work. I have to be here at 7AM, but I get to leave at 2:30PM, which I love. The only problem is - when I get home at 2:30 what do I do? Usually, I just fall asleep until about 6PM, when my husband comes home. Maybe today will be different, but the way I'm feeling right now, I doubt it.

It's pouring rain here this morning - a tropical wave - and that makes it even more desirable to just stay in bed. I think I'll go hunt up some coffee in the cafeteria.

Lately, I've been wanting to devote more AM time to Bible study, but in the AM, the spirit is willing, but the flesh is comatose......I REALLY have to get with the program. Thank God each day is a new gift, and tomorrow I can do better.

Going for my coffee run now......

The treasure coast is the east coast juat a bit north of west palm beach. You must be south of me if you are getting rain this morning. It hasn't gotten up here yet but the weather dude says it's coming. Fine by me. I hope we get enough so that fires aren't a threat on the 4th. Seems everyone and his brother shoots off all sorts of fireworks here in my neighborhood and I am always worried when it's dry that fires could happen.

Good luck on staying awake this afternoon. It's tuff staying away from the bed on a rainy day. Some of the best sleeping is done to the tune of rain drops.

Yup - I live in Pembroke Pines, where there are pretty much no more pines....

Some yahoo was lighting off fireworks the other night - thank God my cats are oblivious to all the noise, or I'd have 4 cats stuck to the walls by all four paws. Nowadays, July 4th is a season rather than a single day - and fireworks are lit for a few weeks before and after...

Thank you, Suze, for your compliment on my site. I'm pleased you like it. Not many people besides friends and family have been by there. Here's a place where I post more regularly: http://www.xanga.com/sawatdeeka

My mom still gets up early to study. Sigh. But it's because she wants to; I don't think she views it as a "discipline." I wrestle with my schedule that's sloppy around the edges. Yet God has been gracious and I've learned and grown a great deal in spite of not getting up early to study. And I can rest in a perfect righteousness He has provided in spite of my imperfections.

Augh! I just saw that you put my site under "Favorite Blogs!" Now pleased isn't the word! Will I sleep tonight? This is the first time I've had that happen. Thank you.

Angie - I have only been posting on this blog for a short time - most of the time it was just for me because no one else ever saw it - so having people leave comments is new to me, too. It's exciting!!
